Hi, I’m Marie.
I’m a pharmacist by training, a microbiome nerd by passion, and the founder of Gallinée – the first skincare brand designed to care not just for your skin, but for the billions of bacteria living on it. We launched in 2016 with a patented complex of pre, pro and postbiotics, and today you can find us in Sephora, Mecca, and across the world.
After 10 amazing years growing Gallinée, being featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour, and a few other places I still can’t quite believe, I felt like doing something a little different.
Enter Citizen Kelp.
It’s not a brand. It’s not a launch.
It’s more like… a journal. A space to post photos, write articles, and share thoughts on travel, science, bacteria, skincare, or whatever catches my curiosity that week.
Right now? I’m in Japan – exploring, learning, probably over-snacking on fermented things.
